The long-term preservation of the electronic materials is an information and knowledge management process which ensures the usability of the materials also for the future generations.
A model for national, centralized, long term preservation solution of electronic materials was prepared by the National Digital Library project in 2010. This is meant for all organisations responsible for the preservation of cultural heritage.
